Cameras are going to be the first thing you notice on the new Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro. You may be expecting a mobile device to offer a camera, but what about five of them? Xiaomi has installed the new Isocell Bright HMX 108-megapixel (MP) sensor on their latest device.   


The five cameras on the back are loaded with power, with a 108MP primary camera, a 20MP ultra wide-angle camera with a 117°degree field, a 5MP ultra-telephoto lens, a 12MP portrait camera, and finally, a 2MP macro lens. Add a dual flash with dual soft-lights, and it’s basically a fully functioning photo studio in your hand. Let's not forget that if you want a selfie, there is a 32MP selfie camera on the front.  

With so many camera options come superb video quality. The Mi CC9 Pro delivers optical stabilization (OIS), 960 fps slow-motion video, 4k video, digital image stabilization, control over iso settings, and even the ability to shoot in RAW mode. Now let's talk about the zoom ability. The 12MP camera has a 2x zoom and portrait mode. The 5MP ultra-telephoto has a 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom.  

  
The included 5260mAh high capacity battery comes with a 30W flash charger that can recharge 100% in a little over an hour, so you won't run out of battery power when listening to music through the 3.5mm headphone jack. The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has a 3D, curved AMOLED 6.47-inch screen and supports HDR10 and is made of scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 5. The display also features an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Standard options like Bluetooth 5, WIFI, dual SIM, and a USB Type-C connection port give you all of the functionality you've gotten used to in previous models.

Android 9.0 Pie runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core 2.2 GHz processor, which is the most powerful of the Snapdragon 7 series chips. This device also packs in 6GB of RAM on the standard model, and upgrades to 8GB of RAM on the premium model. Storage on the lower end model is 128GB, with the premium model getting 256GB. Available colors are Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Snow Aurora. Most impressive is that its price point is affordable. The high-end model is at around USD 500.00, with the lower end model running around USD 400.00. Xiaomi has included a massive list of features in this device for the price.
